I'm John Power, a professional bricklayer with over 40 years of experience in all aspects of brickwork. I am based in the South East, working across Bromley, Dartford, Bexley, Sevenoaks, all of Kent and South East London.
I have the expertise and experience to provide any brickwork that you require from replacing a broken brick, building a garden wall or a complete new build.

Reasons for deciding on John Power Brickwork
John Power Brickwork offers a full range of services including garden walls, brickwork repair, patios, steps and knock-throughs. I also offer more technical services offering specialist skills in new builds, extensions and garages and circular and curved brickwork.
The price I quote is the price you pay. I wont suddenly ask you for more money for materials or undertake more than one job at a time, taking days off to go to other jobs. I am 100% committed to ensuring customer satisfaction.
The site will be kept clean and tidy. Every day I will arrive early and ready for work. You will always be kept informed of my progress. You will get first class brickwork from a dedicated bricklayer.
I am a Kent County Council Traders Checked professional, meaning I have been fully vetted and approved by the council. This accreditation ensures that I meet high standards of service, giving my customers peace of mind when choosing me for their jobs.

John is a highly skilled bricklayer. He was very proactive in offering potential options and solutions for the refurbishment of my mum’s old wall. He built three new piers to support the wall which was leaning slightly. He also repointed the wall and waterproofed the bottom rows of bricks. Excellent work, did exactly as asked, no fuss, first class work.

Repair and rebuild feature wall knocked over by lorry. Attention to detail - found matching bricks and made like new but blended with rest of wall. Good communicator, options when a couple of hitches arose. Clean and tidy, punctual. Very pleased. Recommended.

John did an amazing job removing a window and vent, then completing the brickwork. He finished the entire job in just a few hours, keeping noise and mess to an absolute minimum. Despite having to work around several exterior pipes with very little space, the result is flawless — you’d never know there was ever a window there. Whenever we need any brickwork done in the future, we’ll be calling John.
